The incineration of HSW transforms hospital solid waste into gas, ash, and water. The gases produced can contain pollutants that are dangerous to the environment and human health, including acidic gases such as Sulfur Oxides (SOx), Hydrochloric Acid (HCl), Hydrofluoric Acid (HF), Dioxins, Furans, and heavy metals like Lead, Cadmium, and Mercury.
